In fact, I'd say that my only problem with The Lion, which is a fantastic pub in general, is that once or twice I've been there and almost all the selection was pale. Over in the USA (or in Massachusetts anyway) IPA seems to dominate the brewing completly, with many brewers focussing all their attention on sharp, high hop, high alcohol, full frontal flavour beers.
