A reminder that my monthly singaround in the Lion Tavern in Moorfields (near the station), Liverpool, is on again tomorrow night. As usual, it's free, performing is optional and the pub provides sandwiches. The singaround takes place on the second Thursday of each month.And it's a really nice pub - lots of carved woodwork, etched glass and old tiles, as well as eight changing real ales.
Sadly I don't tend to get to The Lion on Thursdays, but it's certainly one of my favourite pubs. Always just the right atmosphere.
