For local music lovers who like real ale, this week is busy with music events in a variety of real ale venues:- Wednesday 21st: singaround in the Mason's, Anchor Street. Robinson's Unicorn Bitter.
- Thursday 22nd: Bridget St John and Michael Chapman at the Bothy (in the Park Golf Club, Park Road West.). Thwaites Bomber.
- Friday 23rd: Southport Swords dancing for St George's Day in the Baron's Bar (8.30pm) and the Guest House (9.30pm). Both venues have a great range of real ales.
- Sunday 25th: Bothy 45th birthday special singers night from 7pm (note early start). Beer from Thwaites or (possibly) Southport.
