Champion Beers of Britain 2014

These were announced yesterday at the Great British Beer Festival in London. How many have you had? I think my total is seven. Some people will probably whinge that a regional brewer such as Timothy Taylor won, but that is just prejudice. We shouldn't discriminate against a brewer just because the beers are brewed in a proper brewery rather than a shed in the garden.

  1. I've had two, which I guess isn't bad when living in Virginia.

  2. That's rather good, assuming it isn't Virginia Water in Surrey.

  3. Personally I think it's good that an ordinary session strength Bitter won this year. But being one of the judges I probably would say that:)

  4. The TT website says that "Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker". They must have had you in mind, Tyson.
