Sorry I've not posted anything for a while, but I've been feeling somewhat under the weather. I've been having sneezing fits, which on a couple of occasions have gone on all day, along with something that was a bit like a cold, but wasn't.
Don't you sometimes look back to the days when a cold was a cold, and when it was over, it vanished?

I had the dreaded Norovirus recently which basically wrote off six days in terms of enjoying any food or drink :-(
ReplyDeleteMy sympathies: that sounds much worse than whatever it is I've had.
ReplyDeleteThese not-a-colds are a bugger, though. I've had the cloggy-sinuses-and-slight-shortness-of-breath part of a cold for months, with occasional (repeated) flareups into sneezing, sore throat etc; the other half has had a horrible cough lurk & then recur for the best part of a year. Weird & just slightly annoying. We've probably both got cancer, that'll be what's doing it.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's cheered me up!
DeleteMissed your fascinating chat.
DeleteAbout the only good thing about being unwell is that when it passes, (and luckily mostly it does, eventually, unless Phil is right, goddamn him ;) ) you feel wonderfully well and thankful for that fact. That's my feeling anyway.
Be kind to yourself.

Thanks Ellie.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, and I definitely prefer your suggestion to Phil's!
I hope all is well with you too.
Cheers.
